Signature Programs

 

Crafting Your Identity with Wellbeing Lab

Description: Join LBGTQ+ Services and the Wellbeing Lab for a creative workshop where you can explore your identity through embrodiery. This hands-on session will provide space for self-reflection and expression, guided by student workers from both LBGTQ+ Services and the Wellbeing Lab. All materials will be provided, and no crafting experience is necessary. Come connect with others and create something meaningful to you!

Lavender Graduation

Description: Join us for Lavender Graduation, a ceremony that celebrates the achievements and contributions of LGBTQ+ and ally students at MIT. This event honors their unique experiences and successes, providing a space for reflection, recognition, and community. Graduating students will receive lavender cords to wear during the Institute Commencement ceremony. Friends, family, and allies are welcome to attend and show their support.

LBGTQ+ Advisory Board

Description: Join us for the final LBGTQ+ Advisory Board meeting of the semester. This meeting will be a time to reflect on the past year, provide feedback on LBGTQ+ Services programs and initiatives, and discuss plans for the future. Your input is invaluable to us as we strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community at MIT. We look forward to seeing you there!

MISTI + LBGTQ+ Services: The LBGTQ+ experience abroad: Being out in the world
 

Description:  MISTI and the Rainbow Lounge invites MIT students of all sexual orientations and genders for a session featuring queer-identified students sharing their experiences living, working, and studying abroad. Panel followed by informal discussion. Contact Misti@mit.edu

Rainbow Compass Mentorship End of Year
Description: Join us for the Rainbow Compass Mentorship End-of-Semester Gathering! This event is a celebration of the mentorship relationships that have formed throughout the semester. Mentors and mentees will have the opportunity to reflect on their experiences, share stories, and enjoy some light refreshments. It's a great way to wrap up the semester and celebrate the connections made through the Rainbow Compass Mentorship Program. We hope to see you there!
